Heartsaver/First Aid Instructor
We offer the Heartsaver/First Aid Instructor Course once a month. It is taught at the Allen Park location unless otherwise noted. Click on "Maps" to the left for directions and to view a map to this location.
Pre-Requisites:
- Current Heartsaver CPR card (include one copy, front & back of card, with registration)
- Current First Aid Provider card (include one copy, front & back of card, with registration) OR be a licensed Healthcare Professional (RN, EMT-P, MD etc.)
- Advance studying of the American Heart Association Instructor Manuals
- Completion of Core Instructor Course.
Post-Requisites:
- Student is required to attend/teach two 4-hour sessions within 60 days of the Instructor Course.
- Instructors must be an affiliate with an AHA Approved Community Training Center
Course fee: $300.00
Includes:
- Heartsaver and Family & Friends Instructor Manuals (80-1077)
- Heartsaver 1st Aid w/CPR & AED Student Workbook (80-1058)
- Core Instructor Course Workbook w/ CD (80-1050-This must be completed prior to course.
